Your Role as Subject Leader of RE:

As the new Subject Leader of RE, you’ll lead the development and delivery of an inspiring curriculum that brings Religious Education to life across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll support and guide a talented team, share innovative teaching ideas, and ensure high standards are maintained across all lessons.

Your leadership will:

  • Drive curriculum innovation, fostering curiosity and critical thinking
  • Promote inclusive teaching practices and high achievement for all pupils
  • Collaborate across the Humanities department to enrich the student experience
  • Make Religious Education relevant, engaging, and thought-provoking

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong RE background
  • Experienced in teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Ready to lead a department or take the next step in their teaching career
  • Passionate about student progress, curriculum development, and team leadership
  • Enthusiastic about professional growth through ongoing education and training
  • In possession of (or willing to apply for) a valid Enhanced DBS
