Student Wellbeing Assistant – Tilehurst November 2024 – Full Time Are you passionate about supporting students facing social, emotional or mental health challenges? A brilliant school in Reading, Tilehurst, are looking to take on a Student Wellbeing Assistant on board this October, to join their staff in giving personlised education to pupils with additional needs. The school have an established line-up of professional therapists, psychologists and SEN specialists working at the school that work alongside classroom assistants to ensure the students receive learning support that they will not not get in a mainstream education. As a Student Wellbeing Assistant, you will be supporting students on a 1-1 ratio, helping them face challenges that come up during the school day. The students at this school face barriers and struggles regarding developmental trauma and different social, emotional and mental health needs. The Student Wellbeing Assistant will be responsible for observing triggers and facilitating different therapeutic techniques with the goal of promoting the students’ mental well-being.
