Academics is recruiting on behalf of a supportive college in the Stoke-on-Trent area of Staffordshire, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Social Sciences Teacher on a full-time, fixed-term basis.
Social Sciences Teacher - Role Information:
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Sciences lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Engage, motivate, and challenge students
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
Social Sciences Teacher - Applicant Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Social Sciences
- Recent experience teaching Social Sciences at KS3-KS5
- Strong subject knowledge with a specialism in Psychology, Sociology, or both
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
