PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED - YR1/2
Academics, a leading teacher recruitment agency, are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring primary teacher to cover a mixed YR1/2 class from September. The school is based in the Staffordshire Moorlands and will be on a full-time supply basis till October half term. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment during the first half of the autumn term.
The Role
- Full-time class teacher for a mixed Year 1/2 class.
- Planning, teaching, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil progress.
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally within mixed-age classes.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Has strong communication and organisational skills.
- Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships quickly.
