A welcoming and established early years setting within a busy primary school in Stafford is seeking to appoint a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their team on a temporary, supply long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and nurturing professional to support young children's development within a high-quality learning environment.

The role is available for an immediate start, subject to completion of all necessary safeguarding and compliance checks. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging early years provision, supporting children's early learning and development and ensuring a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Promote children's learning, development and well-being through structured play and interaction.
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress.
  • Help to maintain a safe, clean and nurturing environment in accordance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
  • Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
  • Support children's personal, social and emotional development.

Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential). Previous experience working within an early years setting. Understanding of safeguarding procedures and responsibilities.

Pay £93 - £100 per day, depending on experience and responsibilities. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
