An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in the Stevenage area is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join its successful Humanities faculty from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and thought‑provoking lessons that encourage critical thinking, reflection and understanding of diverse beliefs and values.

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
  • Ability to teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Passionate about delivering high‑quality teaching and learning.
  • High expectations of student achievement, behaviour and engagement.
  • Committed to supporting the wider life of the school.
  • Excellent communicator and team player.
