The successful candidate will be joining a well-resourced department where Computer Science is a valued and growing subject across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
The Role
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across KS3-KS5
- Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Teaching computational thinking, programming, and digital literacy skills
- Monitoring, assessing, and tracking student progress in line with school policies
- Contributing to curriculum development within the department
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- A strong subject knowledge in Computer Science/ICT
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- The ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong classroom management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
