We are currently recruiting for a dedicated, compassionate and experienced Year 3 Primary Teacher who is ready to jump into a welcoming, supportive and friendly primary school supporting their Year 3 class up until the end of the academic year. The school has been rated "Good" by Ofsted and is a highly regarded school in Rugeley, benefitting from a strong leadership team, a tight-knit staff cohort and a commitment to both pupil progress and staff development.

The Role includes:

  • Full teaching responsibilities for a Year 3 class.
  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all learners; in which they feel ready, equipped and motivated to learn.
  • Working collaboratively alongside colleagues, support staff and leadership in order to provide the most enriching and fulfilling classroom environment.
  • Marking is expected to be completed on a daily basis, any school assessments must be undertaken in line with the school's wishes and expectations.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom in a positive, proactive and motivating manner.

What we are looking for:

  • An experienced Year 3 Primary teacher, who is committed to supporting pupils during the final years of their primary school journey.
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills; the candidate will be confident in managing behaviour effectively, establishing clear routines, and fostering a calm and purposeful classroom atmosphere.
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
  • Somebody who is able to jump straight in; able to build strong, trusting relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
  • The ability to plan engaging, enriching lessons in line with schools planning policies and National Curriculum.
  • You will be working on a temporary basis, supporting one of our partner schools teaching a Year 3 class. This role will be until the end of the academic year.
  • Somebody who holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

Pay: 130 - 169 a day (dependent on experience) holiday pay is included in the day rate. The pay will be negotiated dependent upon how much responsibility you are expected to take on - e.g., there may be scope to increase the pay rate.
