Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic RE Teacher looking for your next opportunity this September? Or perhaps you're an RE specialist who can also teach Music and is seeking a full-time role? Academics is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school looking to appoint either:
- An RE Teacher on a part-time basis (3 days per week), or
- An RE & Music Teacher on a full-time basis, teaching RE for 3 days and Music for the remaining 2 days.
This role is due to start in September and is offered on a fixed-term basis initially until December, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
Role Information:
- Plan and deliver engaging RE and/or Music lessons across KS3 - KS5
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Engage, motivate, and challenge students
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Contribute positively to the department and wider school community
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in RE or Music
- Recent experience teaching Music and/or RE up to KS5
- Excellent subject knowledge with a specialism in RE and/or Music
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A positive, reliable, and professional approach
