Learning Support Assistant - Stafford/Rugeley/Cannock - Full Time - Start Date: Opportunities available ASAP ⭐Calling all Learning Support Assistant's⭐ We are currently recruiting to appoint a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a range of our partner primary schools for the new academic year on either a daily/short-term or long-term basis working through a trusted supply agency. This role is vital to our schools and involves supporting a vast range of children with varying needs including working alongside children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP's). We are particularly interested in candidates who have a background in supporting children with Speech and Language, ADHD, Autism and SEMH. You will be working directly alongside class teachers and as a Learning Support Assistant you'll be encouraged to "follow your own lead" using your own initiative and skills to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for the children. The Role includes: 🖍️Having a calm, patient and proactive approach in order to support a range of pupils with varying needs. 🖍️Have the ability to build effective relationships with multiple staff members, external professionals and most importantly the students. 🖍️The ability to relate in a firm and friendly way with a wide range of personalities. 🖍️Using your own initiative alongside being willing to undertake direction and guidance. 🖍️Being motivated to work with children with special educational needs and to motivate and inspire. What we are looking for: 📚An experienced Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant who shares a passion and drive for supporting pupils across the primary age range. 📚Holds NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or above). 📚Paediatric First Aid Qualification (desirable). 📚Has a genuine passion and interest in supporting pupils' academic and personal development. 📚At least one year experience working with SEND children in the primary age range. 📚You will be working on a temporary basis through a supply agency. Pay: £93 - £110 a day (dependent on experience) holiday pay is included in the day rate.
