We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic, passionate and caring EYFS Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming school on the outskirts of Stafford supporting their Reception class. The hours in which you will be expected to work will be 32.5 hours a week. The successful candidate will have experience working within the Early Years settings and must hold full and relevant Level 3 qualifications in Early Years.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting teaching and learning within a Reception class.
- Working with individual pupils and providing small group interventions where necessary.
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation.
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and progress.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment at all times.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
What We Are Looking For
- Must have experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Holds a NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent.
- Recent experience of working in a school.
- Has a positive, flexible and professional approach to work.
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
- Can provide professional references.
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Can travel to the outskirts of Stafford.
