Key Details: SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant Special Educational Needs (SEN) learning support work Cheltenham based Start ASAP £93+ per day (Depending on Experience) Term time only Clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to a range of learners across the day. Support learners with their learning, development and engagement. Support the delivery of targeted interventions and personalised activities. Build positive and trusting relationships with learners. Encourage continued positive behaviour choices, confidence and independence. Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment for all. Follow all policies and procedures on a daily basis. We are looking for someone who is: Caring, patient and adaptable. Passionate about supporting learning and young people to succeed. Confident building positive relationships with learners. Resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations. Willing to learn and develop through training and hands on experience. Able to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
