About the Role:
We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled SEND Teachers to work in a variety of specialist settings, including:
- SEMH schools
- ASD provisions
- PRUs
- Specialist learning centres within mainstream schools
Assignments vary from day-to-day, short-term, to long-term roles, offering flexibility and a chance to build strong relationships within schools that match your teaching style and strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and other professionals
- Create inclusive learning environments that enable all pupils to thrive
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one through us)
