Primary SEMH Teacher / SEMH Teacher Alternative Provision - Southampton September start - Full-time
Academics are seeking an experienced and empathetic Primary SEMH Teacher/SEMH Teacher to carry out a full-time assignment in a growing Alternative Provision in Southampton.
This is a full-time opportunity starting in September, on a potential temp to perm basis.
Due to their success and growing pupil numbers, they are looking for a Primary SEMH Teacher/SEMH Teacher who is happy to teach pupils in KS3-KS4.
Due to their varying learning levels, they feel the role would be suited to someone used to teaching at primary level.
All of the pupils experience challenging behaviour so this is suited to a Primary SEMH Teacher/SEMH Teacher with previous experience of teaching in a similar setting, or with pupils with challenging behaviours and/or special educational needs.
The suitable Primary SEMH Teacher/SEMH Teacher will be resilient and possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills, but also be empathetic and be able to build positive relationships with the young children.
