The Role - Year 6 Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Prepare pupils effectively for SATs, ensuring strong progress across Reading, Writing and Maths
- Use assessment data to inform planning and raise attainment
- Create a structured, purposeful and supportive classroom environment
- Provide targeted intervention to support and stretch pupils of all abilities
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Foster independence, resilience and confidence ahead of transition to Year 7

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs frameworks
- Excellent behaviour management and high expectations for all pupils
- Ability to raise attainment and demonstrate measurable impact
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
