Role: KS2 Teacher
Area: Skipton, North Yorkshire
Contract: Daily Supply | Short Term | Long Term
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
Pay: DoE (paid via PAYE) | £140 - £220
Additional Info: Support a number of local primary schools where high-quality teaching, pupil engagement and a nurturing learning environment are at the heart of school life. You will be teaching across KS2, helping pupils to progress academically, build confidence and develop independence.
Key Responsibilities for the role of KS2 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
- Differentiating learning to support a range of abilities and learning needs
- Create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCo, and wider staff team
- Support pupils' academic, emotional and social development
- Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS essential)
- Experience teaching within KS2 (preferred but not essential)
- Adaptable, confident and committed to high-quality teaching
- Strong communication skills and a reflective teaching approach
