Academics, an established Education Agency, are recruiting an SEMH Teaching Assistant for temporary, ongoing supply work across a variety of specialist SEN schools in Doncaster. This SEMH Teaching Assistant opportunity would suit someone with experience supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Schools may have varied age ranges, with some settings also having post-16 provisions, so flexibility and experience across different age groups would be beneficial.
Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £92.56 - £100 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role
Working as an SEMH Teaching Assistant in Doncaster, you will provide support to pupils with a range of additional needs within specialist SEN environments. The SEMH Teaching Assistant may support learning, behaviour, emotional regulation, communication and independence, working closely with teachers and wider support teams.
Key Responsibilities

- Patient, resilient and supportive approach
- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS or willingness to obtain both
