We are seeking qualified teachers and experienced tutors to deliver 1-to-1 and small group tuition to pupils in and around Ruislip and the wider Hillingdon area. This work supports young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education or who require additional support due to SEND and/or SEMH needs. Tuition may be delivered in person, online, or in a hybrid format. Multiple positions are available, with ongoing referrals from schools and local authorities. You must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is an excellent opportunity for educators seeking flexible work while making a meaningful impact.
Role Overview
- Deliver tuition across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
- Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 (depending on experience)
- Work with students with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs
- Sessions may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or online
- Flexible part‑time to near full‑time opportunities depending on demand
Student Needs
- SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal
- Autism (ASC), ADHD
- MLD, SLD, or PMLD
Requirements
- QTS / QTLS or strong relevant tutoring experience
- Experience with SEND or alternative provision learners
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references
- Safeguarding awareness
- Ability to travel locally within Ruislip / Hillingdon
