The predicted salary is between 15 - 20 £ per hour.
We are currently seeking qualified teachers and experienced tutors to support primary and secondary-aged pupils across Ruislip and the wider Hillingdon area through 1:1 and small-group tuition. This provision supports young people who are currently outside of mainstream education, including pupils accessing EOTAS provision, as well as learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
There is an immediate need for tutors, with referrals continuing to grow throughout the remainder of the academic year and into September. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available.
What the Role Will Involve- Delivering tuition in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science
- Supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils
- Working with learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, and school avoidance
- Tuition delivered in homes, schools, community settings, or online
- Flexible opportunities available, with many referrals offering up to 5 days per week (approximately 3 hours per day)
Please note, this is not a permanent full-time position. The role is offered on a zero-hours basis, with work assigned as and when tuition sessions become available.
Requirements- QTS / QTLS or substantial tutoring experience
- Experience supporting SEND, EOTAS, or alternative provision learners is desirable
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and awareness
- Ability to travel locally within the Ruislip / Hillingdon area
- Flexible work to suit your availability
