Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Academics Ltd is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in mainstream primary schools across Retford, Nottinghamshire. This is a temporary, part-time, term-time only role with an immediate start.
Key responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
- Support students' social and emotional development
- Monitor and record student progress
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with SEND pupils
- Relevant NVQ or Cache Level 2 or 3 TA/SEND qualification (preferred)
- A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to commute across Retford
- Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate
