Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support for pupils with additional learning needs within the Resource Provision
- Work closely with class teachers and the wider SEND team to deliver personalised support
- Help create a calm, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Support children's communication, emotional regulation, and social development
- Adapt activities and learning approaches to meet individual EHCP targets
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASD
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build trusting relationships with children
- A calm and nurturing manner
- Experience within a school or specialist provision setting desirable
- Knowledge of strategies such as Makaton or Speech and Language support beneficial but not essential
- Paediatric First Aid qualification desirable
