The Role

We are looking to appoint a creative, forward‑thinking, passionate SEN Teacher with experience of teaching students with moderate learning difficulties and SEMH. As a class teacher, you will take a creative and flexible approach to teaching pupils, tailoring your delivery to their educational needs. You will ensure delivery of the school's alternative curriculum maximises students' development and achievement. The role will be challenging but rewarding in equal measure. • Deliver effective lessons that are adapted for individual students' learning needs.
  • Ensure the required standards of classroom management and student behaviour are met.

  • Be flexible and highly creative.
  • Attend staff and parent meetings in line with the school calendar.
  • Ensure learner portfolios are managed, moderated and in line with subject specifications.
