Overview
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Associate to work in this small, specialist school near Oxted. All students have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and associated challenging behaviours. The school focuses on addressing the educational, social and therapeutic needs of students, fostering their academic, social and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside teachers and specialist staff in Oxted to support students with SEMH challenges and traumas.
- Identify students’ risks and needs, escalating where necessary.
- Provide consistency and equip children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and able to succeed in life.
- Assist in delivering restorative approaches within challenging settings.
