We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Tower Hamlets, East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and caring TA who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN.
  • Support students with learning, engagement and independence.
  • Work closely with teachers and the SEN team.
  • Assist students with physical/mobility needs where required.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate - essential.
  • School-based experience desirable.
  • Patient, caring and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a supportive Outstanding secondary school.
