SEN Teaching Assistant – Kidlington SEN in the Mainstream TA – 1:1 with ASD- ASAP Start Autism Teaching Assistant SEN TA Mainstream Primary School Kidlington Teaching Assistant Position £83- £90 per day ASAP Start An exciting opportunity has arisen in a Primary school in Kidlington. They are currently searching for a teaching assistant to join them ASAP. The vacancy involves working within a Year 2 class on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with Autism. A strong background in Maths and English is ideal for this role and the Primary school are ideally looking for someone with previous experience with SEN. Experience with SEN is desirable as within the current Year 2 class there is a pupil with high-functioning ASD. Prior experience in a similar setting is also beneficial to this role however is not essential. The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level and will have worked within a primary school desirably, or alternatively they will have previous experience working within an environment with children. As the class has a number of children with EHCPs, previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is ideal whether it be in a classroom, sports, childcare or another setting.
