Academics Agency is seeking dedicated SEN/SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN/SEND), Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate/Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs across Derbyshire Area. With multiple positions available, we’re looking for compassionate individuals who are committed to making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable and disengaged learners.

The Role:
As an SEN/SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide holistic, trauma-informed support to young people with diverse learning needs
- Deliver engaging, tailored sessions to aid their educational and social-emotional development
- Work flexibly across schools and alternative provisions in South Yorkshire
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Teaching Assistant (SEN/SEND preferred)
- Experience supporting SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to obtain one)
- Two professional references
- Right to work in the UK
