SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Long Term Newport Starting January 2025 Would you like to be part of improving children’s lives? Are you experienced in working with children with ALN? Do you want a new challenge starting in January 2025? We have the perfect role for you. A supportive and welcoming school in Newport is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning and behavioural needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will make a vital difference in the progress and academic development of pupils with ALN whilst supporting them in their social and emotional development. Key responsibilities Provide 1:1 support to children struggling with ALN and help students understand instructions. Assist in implementing individual learning and support plans Work alongside the classroom teacher and SEN team to create a positive working environment Prepare, provide and deliver suitable learning materials.
