About the Role:

We are looking for flexible and dedicated SEN Supply Teachers to work on an as-needed basis in primary schools across Selby. As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring they receive quality, individualized education that empowers them to reach their potential.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of SEN students in Key Stages 1 and 2.
* Collaborate with school staff and SEN coordinators to implement individualized learning plans (ILPs).
* Quickly adapt to new school environments and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
* Use effective behaviour management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and families to provide a cohesive support system for each student.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching.
* Solid understanding of SEN best practices, including differentiated instruction and behaviour management strategies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, staff, and families.
* Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for working with SEN students.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
