SEMH Teaching Assistant Wantage Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant or Nursery Practitioner looking for rewarding role and taking the next steps in your education and training career in the new year? This job is for you! We are working with fantastic Mainstream primary school across Wantage that provide for children between that have been diagnosed with wide ranging educational and social needs. This school are looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant who endeavour to ensure children reach their full potential, through high standards of teaching and learning. This is a SEMH Teaching Assistant role that will put you into challenging, sometimes Anti-Social contexts that will build your foundations of experience. With this LSA role starting after, de-escalation and the language around it is incredibly important! * January start date* Location: Wantage * Pay: £417.50 – 450 per week (for a full 5 day working week)* Full time 8:30am to 3:15pm. SEMH Teaching Asssitant Requirements: * Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential* A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm.* Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching and support staff* Willing to support a pupil with personal care where necessary.* Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare OR has proven 3 year experience in an EYFS or KS1/KS2 setting.* Passion to support children …
