SEND Teacher - Stechford
Academics Ltd are looking for a SEND Teacher who will be available on a full time basis for a SEMH School based in the eastern area of Birmingham. This position is for a Teacher who is able to start in April 2026 and can commit until the end of the academic year July 2026.
A classroom TA will be provided to support you all day.
This is a Key Stage 3 boys Special School. All of the children who attend this Special School have a Statement of Special Educational Need or an Education and Health Care Plan. The school educates boys who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The school provides an appropriate curriculum, which encompasses and extends the National Curriculum. The school curriculum model provides a natural progression towards full participation within the National Curriculum framework, with programmes designed for and implemented at an appropriate level.
Successful Qualified Teacher must:
- Have a QTS status and eligibility to work in the UK
- Have extensive subject knowledge from KS1 - KS3
- Have experience of teaching SEN children
- Have taught at a good to outstanding consistent level
- Have excellent classroom behaviour management
- Have a flexible working routine and be willing to alter needs if needed
- Be able to utilise resources effectively to enhance children\'s attainment levels
- Be able to plan and think strategically
- Have a commitment to the learning and development of all pupils
- Be able to handle stressful situations patiently and calmly
