Are you an experienced SEMH School Teacher looking for a new role starting in January 2026 where you will be well supported to create positive academic and emotional outcomes? A school in Havering, London is seeking a passionate, dedicated and inspiring teacher to join their team from September 2026 to work with children with SEMH. This is a full‑time role, and the school is open to both long‑term or permanent contracts depending on your preference. This school caters for children ages 3‑18 who have SEMH and is a rare opportunity to work with them given the low turnover.
You will play a pivotal role in helping students develop both academically and emotionally, creating a positive, nurturing environment where learners can thrive. The building itself is modern with great facilities and resources to ensure teaching and learning is fun, engaging and creates a positive environment. Turnover at the school is low. It is a very happy place to work and you will be well supported. CPD and career development are available. Education and training opportunities are plentiful. The Senior Leadership team are very supportive of all teaching staff, helping shape the curriculum and provide the necessary resources. They are also very aware of the pressures of life, and offer flexibility when required.
Your role will be to work alongside your partner teachers to plan, prepare and deliver lessons that all children in your class will benefit from.
