Quantum Scholars are currently seeking experienced primary tutors, including qualified teachers, to deliver 1:1 tuition to pupils receiving Alternative Provision or Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) in Ruislip and the surrounding areas. In this rewarding role, you will support pupils who are currently out of mainstream education. Many of the young people we work with have additional needs such as ADHD, autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical needs, and benefit greatly from personalised learning and consistent support.
Tuition is delivered on a 1:1 basis, usually in the pupil's home or within a suitable community setting. Sessions are tailored to each pupil, helping them re‑engage with learning, rebuild confidence, and develop key academic and personal skills. As a tutor, you will play an important role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment while planning and preparing lessons and resources to meet each pupil's individual needs.
