Quantum Scholars is currently seeking experienced Secondary SEND tutors to deliver 1:1 tuition in home and off-site settings for pupils accessing alternative provision across Wokingham and the surrounding areas of Berkshire. This role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils who are not currently in mainstream education. Many of the students we work with have additional needs, including SEND, autism, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical conditions. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with individual learners, delivering tailored sessions that build confidence, strengthen core academic skills, and support their transition back into education.
Role Overview

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable
- Experience supporting secondary pupils with SEND (e.g. autism, SEMH, ADHD)
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive, supportive relationships
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience delivering core secondary subjects such as English, Maths, or Science
- Ability to travel to Wokingham and surrounding areas for in-person sessions
