Do you have a passion for supporting secondary school children with Learning Difficulties, including Autism, and Speech, Language & Communication needs?
Start ASAP in Bristol - BS1. Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm, term time only. The pay is £90 - £100 per day, dependent on experience.

Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
- Behaviour and pastoral support
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with students
- Ensure safeguarding of students
- Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate paperwork
A great Secondary Classroom Assistant will have:
- Enhanced DBS Check (We can assist with this)
- Graduate in a relevant field such as psychology or criminology OR a good education background (GCSE's in Maths and English) plus prior experience working with children with special educational needs
- Ability to build robust and effective relationships with students
- Practical approach to meet the individual needs of students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
