Science Technician - Romford
We are seeking to appoint a Science & General Technician to join our thriving secondary school located in Romford. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become part of our dedicated team supporting the delivery of high-quality science education.
As a Science Technician, your role will involve preparing materials and experiments, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, ordering and organising resources, creating engaging displays, and assisting teachers during practical science lessons. The successful candidate will ensure that our science facilities continue to provide an inspiring learning environment for our students.
We are looking for a Science Technician with good practical skills and, ideally, experience working with scientific equipment. There will be a requirement to undertake chemical handling training as part of this role. You will also work closely with key school personnel and external agencies, supporting the smooth and safe running of our science department.
Applicants should be adaptable, creative, and flexible, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
