Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Science while developing students' analytical and investigative skills
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice within the Science department
- Support practical learning through well-organised laboratory activities and experiments
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
- Effective classroom management and a commitment to maintaining high standards
