Are you a talented Science Teacher excited by the idea of teaching inquisitive learners and bringing practical science to life?
Academics are proud to be supporting a secondary school in Walsall, who are seeking a motivated Science Teacher β ideally with the confidence to deliver A-Level Physics β to join them from January for at least one full term, with the possibility of extension.
The Role:
- Full-time Science teaching position (Monday-Friday)
- Deliver KS3 & KS4 Science and ideally KS5 Physics
- Teach engaging, curriculum-focused lessons with practical opportunities
- Join a collaborative team with subject specialists and fantastic lab resources
- January start β 1 term commitment, likely to extend into the academic year

- Hold QTS/QTLS in Science (Physics specialists especially encouraged)
- Are comfortable teaching Physics at A-Level or are strong with GCSE higher-tier Physics
- Set high expectations, use strong behaviour routines and deliver purposeful lessons
- Are confident with practical demonstrations and investigative learning
- Have a DBS on the update service (or are happy to apply)
