Academics Education Agency is recruiting an experienced School Catering Manager in Bassetlaw. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated catering professional to lead a busy school kitchen team and deliver high-quality meals across a local Bassetlaw school.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for pupils, ensuring high standards and healthy eating
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, maintaining smooth day-to-day operations
- Plan menus, manage dietary needs, and organise stock and food orders
- Ensure full compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
- Support safeguarding and pupil wellbeing within the school environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a School Catering Manager or senior catering role
- Strong kitchen management, leadership, and organisational skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Level 2 NVQ in Food Safety / Allergens
- Health & Safety knowledge in a kitchen environment
- Commitment to safeguarding
