The Role

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will support students with a variety of communication needs including autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. You will work closely with educators, therapists, and wider support teams to provide interventions that enhance communication and wellbeing.

Key duties will include:

  • Assessing students' communication and dysphagia/swallowing needs
  • Planning and delivering both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Promoting and developing a total communication approach across the college
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary integrated services team

About you:

  • Holds a recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification
  • Is registered with the HCPC
  • Has experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, or a strong interest in this area
  • Enjoys collaborative working within a supportive environment
