We are currently recruiting for dedicated and passionate supply teachers to join an established, trusted supply agency supporting local primary schools on a daily, short-term and long-term basis. We work with a variety of schools across Rugeley, Hednesford, Cannock and surrounding areas, offering flexible opportunities across different key stages including EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Whether you are seeking day-to-day supply work, shorter/longer-term teaching roles we can provide opportunities to suit your availability, experience and career goals. You will be working in a variety of different school settings, building valuable relationships and gaining varied classroom experience.

As a Primary School Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining positive classroom environments and ensuring continuity of learning. You'll have the ability to adapt to different school settings and confidently teach across a variety of year groups and key stages, following school policies and curriculum expectations.

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with school planning and curriculum requirements.
  • Create a positive & inclusive learning environment that promotes pupil engagement.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual pupils and classes.
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress and learning where required.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff & parents where appropriate.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children at all times.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Confidence teaching across EYFS/Key Stage 1/Key Stage 2.
  • Availability for day-to-day supply, short-term placements and/or long-term roles.
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one).
  • Is able to commute to schools within the Rugeley and Cannock areas.
  • Is fully registered (or willing to register) with Academics.

Pay: £130 - £180 per day, depending on experience and assignment. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
