About the Opportunity
Working as a Newly Qualified Teacher on supply allows you to experience different school environments while developing your teaching practice. You will teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classes, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting pupils' educational development. This role offers the flexibility to choose when and where you work while receiving ongoing support from Academics and partner schools.
Responsibilities
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire learning
- Establish a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual pupil needs
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Track and assess pupil attainment and progress
- Collaborate with school staff to support pupil outcomes
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are consistently followed
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Newly qualified teacher or currently completing ECT induction
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from different school settings
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
