Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education
  • Support, motivate, and mentor Early Years Practitioners within the room
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or above)
  • Have previous experience working as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to step up
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
  • Have experience leading, supporting, or mentoring colleagues within a nursery environment
