We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with an ASD specialism to support a KS2 pupil at a welcoming school located near Hoo, Rochester, Kent. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with ASD
- Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation
- Implement strategies in line with EHCP targets
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting children with ASD (school-based preferred)
- Understanding of KS2 curriculum and SEN strategies
- Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Must have own transport due to the school's location and limited public transport access

- SEN or TA qualification
