About the school and role

Here at Academics, we are currently working in partnership with a highly regarded and well-established Independent School based in Richmond to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher. This exciting opportunity will involve teaching History across Key Stage 2 and into Key Stage 3, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons to pupils from Year 5 through to Year 7. The successful candidate will join a supportive and forward-thinking department within a school known for its strong academic ethos, excellent facilities, and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

This position would suit a History Teacher with excellent curriculum knowledge and the ability to bring History to life for the school's very able and well-behaved students. You will be joining a close-knit Humanities team, who work together to ensure parents and children receive an excellent education. The school itself is a brilliant mix of old and new, with the oldest part of the building retaining its character, state-of-the-art technology and excellent outdoor spaces for PE and Games. Teachers enjoy working at this school due to excellent resources throughout and the friendly and professional teaching & support team.
