Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

About the Role
Working as a supply NQT in Retford, you will have the opportunity to teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, gaining valuable experience in a variety of primary school settings. These roles are ideal for newly qualified teachers who want to explore different year groups, strengthen classroom management, and build confidence without the pressure of committing to a permanent role straight away. You'll be supported both within school and by your dedicated Academics consultant throughout every placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement
- Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with school expectations
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Newly qualified or currently completing ECT induction
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and eager to gain experience
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
