Are you an experienced and nurturing Early Years Classroom Teacher seeking flexible, temporary work in Retford? Academics are working with supportive Early Years providers across Retford who are looking for skilled practitioners to inspire children aged 3-5 during their foundational learning years.
Position: Early Years Classroom Teacher
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: Β£130 - Β£190 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a preferred start date
About the Role
In this role you will support children's development through play-based and structured activities aligned with the EYFS. You will help build early communication, social and emotional skills, and encourage children to explore and learn in safe, stimulating environments. Candidates working within nurseries or early years settings typically require Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), while those teaching Reception in primary schools require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver EYFS learning linked to developmental objectives
- Promote early communication, curiosity and independent learning
- Work collaboratively with Early Years Assistants and teaching staff
- Carry out EYFS observation and assessment practices
- Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child wellbeing
Candidate Requirements
