Are you a graduate passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young people? A welcoming and inclusive school in Wokingham is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team ASAP.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, social work, or youth mentoring and wants to gain valuable hands-on experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to provide tailored support that helps pupils reach their full potential - both academically and personally.
- Support positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom
- Help pupils understand and follow lesson instructions
- Provide 1:1 or small group support within lessons or the Learning Support department
- Monitor and record pupil progress and development
