Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs? A Secondary SEMH School in Reading is looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.

We're looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant who is:

  • Compassionate, patient and resilient.
  • Passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs.
  • Interested in pursuing a career in psychology, education, therapy or mental health.
  • Able to remain calm and supportive when managing challenging behaviour.

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £93-£110 per day

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Contract: Full-time
