Academics are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Slough, seeking enthusiastic and committed Graduate Teaching Assistants to support classroom learning and gain valuable, hands-on experience. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, offering full immersion in the school environment, mentorship from experienced staff, and a pathway towards teacher training.
About the Role:- Support class teachers across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning
- Gain invaluable experience ahead of a PGCE, School Direct or teacher training programme
- A recent graduate (any subject considered, but core subjects highly desirable)
- A genuine passion for education and child development
- Live in Slough or within commutable distance
- Aspiring to train as a Primary Teacher in the future
- Confident, proactive and willing to learn
- Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, volunteering, summer camps) is advantageous
Location: Slough
Salary: £89-£95 per day
