Person Specification (Aligned to Teaching Standards)
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Sets high expectations which inspire, motivate, and challenge all pupils
- Demonstrates strong subject and curriculum knowledge, particularly within upper KS2
- Plans and teaches well-structured lessons, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Uses assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment
- Manages behaviour effectively, creating a safe and respectful learning environment
- Promotes good progress and outcomes for all pupils, including those with additional needs
- Fulfils wider professional responsibilities, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
